Oye! Has it really been 2 weeks since I set my eyes on this blog. I’m ashamed to say that it has. Just when I thought that spring was right around the corner, I woke up this morning to snow–2 inches and counting. I’m dreaming of swimming and kayaking.

I got a chuckle from the Surmounting Marriage article by Madeleine Begun Kane! I can relate. My wife and I last summer hiked down a mountain in Virginia and hiked back up with very little water and drinks. We made it back but we were both badly dehydrated and tired. I should know better since I am an experienced hiker. Thanks again for the laugh.
