Disclosure

In 2009, the Federal Trade Commission decided that bloggers need to post a disclosure policy if they get anything material out of their blogging work.  Wildbound.com is my personal blog, but I hope to inspire others to get outdoors with their children.

My responsibilities as a blogger are first to control the blog monster so that it does not prevent me from being an effective wife and mother.

Within my role as a blogger, my first responsibility is to you, the reader.  My job, is to provide you with the best information that I have based on my own personal experience.  My goal is to give you information you can trust.

Over time, I will (hopefully) accept free gear to review and paid advertisements.  These reviews will be honest evaluations based on my own experience with that piece of gear.  When I have received a piece of free gear to review, I will make a note of it at the end of the blog post.

Some of my posts contain affiliate links to programs with amazon, REI, and others.  If you buy something after clicking these links, I will receive a small percentage of what you pay.  These links are provided for your convenience to show you where to buy something and to illustrate my points (a picture is worth 1000 words).  By making purchase through these links, you will help support the ongoing work at Wild Bound.  Running a website costs several hundred dollars each year, not to mention the countless hours of research and writing required to to keep a regular posting schedule up to date.  I am very thankful for your support as readers and for any purchases you make through our blog links.

My first desire with Wild Bound is to inspire you to get outside with your family.  My first responsibility is to provide accurate information (to the best of my knowledge) to you, the reader.  Any reviews, advertisers, or affiliate links are there to help support this blog and to help fund more adventures so that I can continue to inspire and inform you about getting outside with kids.
